Christine M. Crawford, MD, MPH, is a adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist at the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Crawford is also the director of medical student education and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Crawford completed her adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/McClean Hospital. She cares for adolescent patients experiencing symptoms of psychosis as part of the Wellness and Recovery After Psychosis (WRAP) program at BMC. She is also engaged in community outreach initiatives through the Boys and Girls Club of Boston, NAACP, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She has authored book chapters on mental health disparities, sociocultural issues in psychiatry, and peer reviewed publications focusing on major depressive disorder.
