All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. We are excited to welcome you and appreciate your patience as we improve our facilities.

In an osteotomy, the hip bones are cut, reshaped, and fixed in a new position to take pressure off of the hip joint. This procedure is used only rarely to treat osteoarthritis of the hip. It can be an option for younger patients in order to delay having to undergo a total hip replacement surgery.
