BMC’s Yawkey building doors are now closed as an entrance as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our campus and provide you with the best clinical care.

All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. We are excited to welcome you and appreciate your patience as we improve our facilities.

The staff at the Margaret M. Shea RN Adult Day Health Program are licensed, caring professionals, and many are long-term employees. The team takes an integrated approach to provide total care for each individual program participant. Additionally, the staff communicates regularly with a participant's entire team of health care providers, including doctors, nurses, home health aides, homemakers, personal care aides, case managers, and family members.

The team remains dedicated to the future of adult day health. Regulatory changes have motivated the entire staff to continue trainings, seminars, association meetings and in services to be compliant with all expectations for the new language governing adult day health programs.
